David McGeown

David McGeown's work experience begins in 2003 when they worked as a Customer Service Advisor at Halifax until 2004. From there, they became a Junior Software Developer at Camden Group LLC, where they maintained a factory floor tracking system and a parts procurement system. In 2004, they had a placement as a Software Developer at Moy Park, where they developed a web-based supply procurement application. In 2005, they joined Blue Zinc IT as a Customer Support Analyst, assisting customers and facilitating data migration. David then moved to AMT-SYBEX in 2007 and held multiple roles, including Support Analyst, Reports Analyst, and eventually Reporting Lead, managing a team and overseeing the development of reports and database solutions. In 2021, they joined BT as an SQL Developer, and most recently, they joined TRG Screen in 2022 as a Database Developer.

David McGeown attended the University of Ulster at Jordanstown from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Software Engineering. In 2016, they took a course in Introduction to Cyber Security at The Open University. In 2004, they obtained Microsoft Certifications in VB.NET programming and SQL Server Programming from BIC Systems in Belfast. Prior to their university education, they attended De La Salle College in Dundalk from 1992 to 1998.
