Jason Toro

Jason Toro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and program development within nonprofit and community-focused organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Tri-CED Community Recycling, Jason leads efforts that promote social justice through economic development and workforce empowerment. Previous roles include Principal Consultant at Justice Reenvisioned, Chief Program Officer at La Familia, and Deputy Director at Community Works West, where Jason focused on justice advancement and community support programs. Jason has a strong background in health and wellness from a tenure with the San Leandro Unified School District and experience in developing training programs for healthcare workers at SEIU UHW-West. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco.
