Chief Nursing Officer at Tri-County Health Care

As the CNO, Tom is directly responsible for all inpatient care areas, lab, diagnostic imaging, emergency department/ready care, EMS, surgery, anesthesia, and pharmacy. He is part of Tri-County Health Care’s administrative leadership team and provides clinical and administrative leadership for planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating safe, high quality patient care.

Tom has a total of 24 years of nursing and progressive leadership experience in healthcare and nursing. He joined Tri-County Health Care two years ago after serving in a variety of capacities with Allina Health and Hennepin County Medical Center.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a Master of Nursing Leadership and Management from Metropolitan State University.

Tom is married to his wife, Jenny, and has three adult children and a grandson, and enjoys spending time outdoors, boating, hunting, and relaxing by a bonfire.
