Shirish Sawale

Shirish Sawale has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Shirish has recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at TRI-K Industries since October 2020. Prior to this, they were the Global Business Director for Proteins and Peptides at TRI-K Industries from March 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining TRI-K Industries, Shirish worked at IQVIA for over a decade, where they held the position of Global Marketing Leader from 2009 to 2020.

From 1996 to 2008, Shirish had a successful career at Unilever (National Starch and Adhesives), starting as the Business Development Manager for various regions. Shirish also served as the Product Marketing Manager for the Americas, overseeing multiple product categories and markets. Additionally, they took on the role of Key Markets Program Leader, where they developed and implemented key market programs, leading to increased business growth and profitability. Throughout their tenure, Shirish demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive successful integration of acquisitions.

Shirish Sawale holds a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Shirish also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS). In addition to their formal education, Shirish obtained a certification in Patient Engagement Design from Stanford University in November 2014.
