Johnny Yip

Johnny Yip has extensive experience in information systems and technology, spanning over several companies and industries. Johnny began their career as a System Support Specialist at InfoSpec Systems Inc. in 1997, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and supporting various networking platforms such as Windows NT, Novell NetWare, and LANtastic. Johnny also provided training on Profitek Systems and assisted with internet server setup and implementation.

In 1995, Johnny became the IT Manager at Yellow Pages Online, Inc., where they developed and maintained information systems, including servers and computers. Johnny also provided quality assurance for maintenance releases and patches at Concur Technologies and certified web-based products on multiple platforms.

From 1997 to 2000, Johnny worked at Sun Life Financial of Canada as a Technologies Consultant Manager. Johnny'sresponsibilities included developing test plans and test cases for internal client management tools and providing system support for employees and agents. Johnny acted as a liaison between the helpdesk and development teams for customer issues.

In 2000, Johnny joined Detto Technologies as the VP of IT/Operations. During their tenure, they played a key role in the company's growth from a startup to a publicly traded company with two acquisitions in different states. Johnny established IT policies and procedures, managed an IT staff and contractors, and oversaw system requirements for various departments.

Most recently, Johnny served as the Director of Information Systems & Technology at Tri Marine Group, starting in 2011. In this role, they established IT policies and procedures to meet the company's technical standards, managed IT staff across multiple countries, and oversaw system requirements with other departments.

Throughout their career, Johnny has demonstrated strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to adapt to different industries and company sizes.

Johnny Yip attended Eastern Washington University from 1986 to 1989. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems.
