Frans Maartens

Frans Maartens has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Frans currently holds the position of Commercial Director at Tri-Star Construction (Pty) Ltd since June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Business Development Director at the same company from March 2020 to July 2022. Frans also held the position of Business Development Manager/DM/QS from June 2019 to March 2020.

Before joining Tri-Star Construction, Frans worked at Kale Developments (Pty) Ltd as the Managing Director since July 2021. Frans previously served as the Development Director from March 2020 to October 2021 and as the Development Manager from January 2018 to March 2020.

Frans also gained experience at Tri-Star Construction (Pty) Ltd before joining Kale Developments. Frans worked as the Commercial Manager from February 2017 to December 2017 and as a Senior Quantity Surveyor from May 2015 to January 2017.

Prior to that, Frans worked at Project Partnership as a Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager from June 2013 to April 2015.

Frans started their career at Keren Kula Construction (Pty) Ltd as a Project Manager from January 2010 to May 2013.

Before joining Keren Kula Construction, they worked as a Site Quantity Surveyor at Keren Kula Construction and as a Site Supervisor at Pearl Construction in 2009.

Frans Maartens completed their Matric from Michaelhouse in the year 2004. Frans then went on to attend the University of the Free State in South Africa from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained their Bcom degree in Business. Frans'sfield of study during this period included Marketing, Economics, Human Resources, and Mathematics. Frans continued their education at the University of the Free State from 2008 to 2009, pursuing a Bsc degree in Quantity Surveying. Frans'sfield of study during this time involved QS, Construction Management, Contractual Law, and Project Management.
