Dan Walter

Dan Walter has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Dan currently serves as the Vice President of Energy Markets at Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association, Inc., where they manage various departments related to resource dispatch, trading, energy portfolio, and settlements. Additionally, they lead organized market and RTO development in the West. Prior to their current role, Dan worked at the same company in positions such as Power Resource Manager and Energy Management Specialist from 1997 to 2008.

Dan Walter completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota Mines in the years 1986 to 1990. Dan then pursued further education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtained their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 1990 to 1992.
