Hala Borno

Founder, Chief Executive Officer at Trial Library

Hala Borno has a diverse work experience in the field of oncology. Hala is currently the Founder and CEO of Trial Library, a platform that focuses on improving patient recruitment and diversity in oncology clinical trials. Prior to that, they worked at UCSF Health, where they held multiple roles including Lead of the Recruitment Science Research Hub, Assistant Professor, and Co-Medical Director of Genitourinary Medical Oncology. Hala also served as a Medical Oncology Fellow Physician and Internal Medicine Resident Physician during their time at UCSF Health. Hala Borno received their Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biochemistry and their Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they were a Medical Alumni Loyalty Fund Scholar.

Hala Borno has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hala also holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the same university, with a field of study in Medicine.
