Chintan Patel, Ph.D, has had a diverse range of work experiences in the fields of informatics and research. Chintan co-founded TrialX in 2009, serving as its Cofounder & CTO. In the same year, they also co-founded Applied Informatics Inc, where they held the position of Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer. At Applied Informatics Inc, they tackled advanced technologies and business challenges in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Chintan pursued a Ph.D at Columbia University from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they also worked as a Research Intern at IBM T.J. Watson Research in 2004. Before their time at Columbia University, Chintan was a student at the University of Missouri - Kansas City from 2002 to 2004.

Chintan Patel, Ph.D, completed their education starting in 2002 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they pursued a degree in an unspecified field of study. Chintan studied there until 2004. Following this, they went on to enroll at Columbia University, where they earned their Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics. Chintan attended Columbia University for a period of five years, from 2004 to 2009.
