Peter Pals

Peter Pals has extensive work experience in the energy trading industry. Peter began their career at National Grid Transco as a Senior Trader, where they worked from 1995 to 2004. Peter then joined Trianel European Energy Trading GmbH as the Head of Benelux Desk from 2004 to 2006. Pals continued their career at Trianel GmbH, starting as the Head of Trading from 2007 to 2013. Peter then became the Head of Flexibility Pool, responsible for optimizing decentralised assets with embedded optionality and developing processes within Trading & Origination, from 2013 to 2014. Pals currently holds the position of Head of System and Process Management at Trianel GmbH, starting in January 2015.

Peter Pals completed their high school education at Eindhovens Protestants Lyceum from 1983 to 1989. Peter then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Imperial College London from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they continued their education at Imperial College London and obtained a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from 1992 to 1995.
