John Shufeldt, MD, JD, MBA, FACEP

John Shufeldt, MD, JD, MBA, FACEP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. John is currently serving as a Partner, Managing Director, & Investment Committee member at Xcellerant Ventures, where they lead a venture capital company focused on investing in transformative health-tech and med-tech companies. Prior to this, Dr. Shufeldt served as the Chief Executive Officer at Tribal Health, a position they have held since 2015. Before that, they were an Emergency Physician/Business Manager at EmPower Emergency Physicians starting from 2000. Dr. Shufeldt also founded and served as the Director of MeMD, LLC, a telemedicine company, from 2010 to 2021.
