Max Shron

Max Shron is an accomplished data scientist and product strategist with extensive experience in various roles within the tech and research sectors. Currently serving as Principal AI Product Strategist at Tribe AI since May 2023 and Director of Research at Switchbox since June 2022, Shron focuses on leveraging data to support climate activism and clean energy transitions. As the Founder and Data Scientist at Polynumeral from February 2012 to July 2024, Shron has aided organizations in using data and machine learning to achieve significant outcomes. A former fellow at Recurse Center, Shron completed a six-week programming retreat where an interpreter for a Bayesian probabilistic programming language was developed. Previous experience includes senior leadership positions at Warby Parker, where contributions spanned various data-focused roles from May 2016 to April 2022. Shron holds an AB in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
