Vern Oakley is the founder, CEO, and creative director of Tribe Pictures. Vern has also been a motivational speaker and professional filmmaker.

Vern’s previous experience includes being the president of the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ) from January 2011 to December 2015. IQ is the only global organization dedicated to film production company owners. With representation in more than 45 countries, members share work and catch up with new business developments at the legendary IQ annual conferences.

Founded in 1966, IQ grew out of innovative North Carolina filmmaker Walter Klein's vision to create a worldwide network of trusted filmmakers to pool knowledge and resources on international productions.

Before founding Tribe Pictures, Vern was also the CEO and creative director of a production company called Motivational, Inspirational, Professional.

Vern Oakley attended Kenyon College for their Synoptic Major in Drama/Art/English. Vern then went on to Harvard Business School for their Field in Leading Your Small Business Through Its Lifecycle and Building New Ventures. Lastly, they attended Georgetown University Law Center.
