Hapa Brandon Perdue has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Hapa Brandon began their career as a DJ/On-Air Personality for Tribune Broadcasting- KTLA and then served as a Marketing Ambassador for the Los Angeles Market for the Red Bull Music Academy. In 2005, they became the Executive Director of Scratch DJ Academy LA and in 2010, they were appointed Brand Director for Scratch Music Group, Inc. In 2015, they were Producer and Host of Music Mornings with DJ Hapa on Dash Radio's flagship station, DASH1. In 2019, they founded A Tribe Called Dad, a podcast to bring more tools and resources to fellow Dads. In 2020, they became Head Coach for The DJ Coach, Head of Education + Brand Partnerships for Tribe XR, and Adjunct Professor for Mt. San Antonio College.
Hapa Brandon Perdue attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
