Michelle Hamada

Michelle Hamada is an accomplished professional in the film industry with a focus on development and production. Currently serving as the Manager, Development and Production at Tribeca Studios since December 2021, Michelle also holds the position of Artist Programs Consultant at Points North Institute. Previously, Michelle worked as the Director of Industry and Filmmaker Relations at Syrn Media and managed documentary and scripted programs at Tribeca Film Institute, overseeing grant submissions and festival representation. Michelle began their career in marketing and media coordination roles at SnagFilms, transitioning through various positions within the organization. Michelle’s academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Cinema Studies from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Soka University of America, complemented by international study experience at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies.
