Ben Clarke has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ben started in 2012 at Rawdon Optical Limited, where they held multiple positions for a brief period. In 2014, they had a research placement through the SURE Scheme at the University of Sheffield. Ben then joined Smith & Nephew as a Project Engineer (Graduate) from 2016 to 2017. Ben later worked as a Consultant at LEONARDO TESTING SERVICES LIMITED from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Peak to Peak Measurement Solutions as a Consultant until 2021. From 2017 to 2023, Ben had multiple roles at The University of Sheffield, including being a Research Associate and an iT-CDT Postgraduate Researcher. Currently, they hold the position of Ultrasonic Innovation Engineer at Tribosonics since May 2023.

Subsequently, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Sheffield, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree.
