Mikael Nygaard

Mikael Nygaard has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 2000, they started as a Guide at Balkan Holidays Denmark and later at Falk Lauritsen Rejser. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Web Developer at International Health Insurance Denmark, where they developed and maintained websites and internal web applications. In 2007, they transitioned to a .NET Consultant role at Rehfeld Partners A/S, where they worked on product development, data management, and implementation of Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Mikael continued in this role until 2014 when they became a Managing Architect at the same company. In 2015, they worked as a Managing Architect at Effektor before transitioning to a similar role at Rehfeld - Part of IMS Health for a brief period. In 2015, they also worked as a Senior Solution Architect at NABUFIT GLOBAL, where they focused on evolving workout solutions. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Lead Application Consultant at Ørsted. Currently, they hold the position of CTO & Partner at Tricloud starting from August 2019. Overall, Mikael Nygaard has expertise in software development, architecture, and project management.

Mikael Nygaard's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Service & Co and obtained a degree as a Guide. In 2003, they enrolled in EDB-Skolen Vejle and completed a degree as a Datamatiker in 2005. Following this, from 2012 to 2014, Mikael attended Erhvervsakademiet Lillebælt where they pursued a Diplomuddannelse in Softwareudvikling.

In addition to their formal education, Mikael Nygaard has obtained several certifications. These include the Microsoft Certified: Azure IoT Developer Specialty from Microsoft in June 2020, the Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2019, the Certified SAFe® 4 DevOps Practitioner also from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2019, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert from Microsoft in May 2019. Other certifications include the Professional Scrum with Kanban I from Scrum.org in November 2018, the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer - Web Applications from Microsoft in March 2015, and the Microsoft Specialist - Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center Specialist from Microsoft in March 2014.

Furthermore, Mikael has obtained certifications such as the Professional Scrum Developer I from Scrum.org in December 2013, the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer - Application Lifecycle Management from Microsoft in November 2013, and the Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in November 2013.
