Trico Electric Cooperative Inc. is a non-profit electric distribution cooperative serving more than 45,000 Members in rural areas surrounding the City of Tucson, including portions of Pima, Pinal, and Santa Cruz counties. Formed in 1945, Trico is owned by the people it serves.

The Technical and Engineering team at Trico Electric Cooperative is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing the electric distribution network. This includes dispatching operations, managing information systems, designing distribution layouts, facilitating new service connections, and ensuring the reliability and safety of electricity supply to over 45,000 members in the rural areas surrounding Tucson.
