Derek Pocoroba

Derek Pocoroba has worked in the technology industry since 2004. Derek began their career at Mercury Insurance Group as a Senior Network Engineer, where they were responsible for the overall routed environment across the WAN, Switched environments LAN's throughout the enterprise as well as all VPN connections. Derek then moved to Network Integration Company Partners, Inc. in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Network Engineer, running primary deployment teams while acting as a technical post sales lead. In 2011, they joined SIGMAnet as a Practice Director, Principal Consultant and Solutions Architect, where they were responsible for pre sales engagements, training/cross training engineers, developing new offerings and providing high level architecture and designs to customers. In 2016, Derek joined ConvergeOne as Director of Enterprise Networks, responsible for development and creation of solutions focused on Enterprise networking. Derek is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Triden Group, a position they have held since 2018.

Derek Pocoroba obtained an Associate of Science (AS) in Information Technology from Westwood College-Anaheim between 2000 and 2002. Derek also obtained a CCIE #18559 in August 2007, a CCNA, CCDA, CCDP, and many other certifications in January 2002, an AWS Solution Architect certification, and a CISSP from (ISC)².
