John Montoya

John Montoya is the current superintendent at Trident Construction Group. Prior to this, they worked as a project manager at Champion Windows & Home Exteriors from August 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were a senior project superintendent at Lucent Glass from March 2019 to August 2020. John also worked as an operations manager at Vertical Exterior Contractors from August 2020 to August 2021. John Montoya began their career in construction as a project superintendent at JAMCO in February 2009 and remained there for ten years until February 2019.

As a project superintendent, John Montoya is responsible for communicating and giving clear direction and leadership to project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, etc. John also assists project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents and standards. Additionally, John Montoya supervises construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. This includes interfacing with client representatives, government officials and other contractors.

In their previous positions, John Montoya has also been responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions including scheduling, engineering, material control, and providing day-to-day direction of project administrative staff in accounting and purchasing. John has also provided technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment as required. Furthermore, John Montoya has authorized and/or approved project transactions, purchase requisitions, field design and change requests. Lastly, they have ensured all onsite personnel

John Montoya began their educational career by earning a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. John then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Colombian Naval Academy. Finally, they earned a Diploma in High School from IFEI.

They are on a team with Nemo Gregario - Superintendent (Contract), Martin Croke - Superintendent (Contract), and David Hein - Asst. Superintendent. Their manager is Superintendent, Superintendent.
