Nestor Ruiz is a Systems Engineer at Trident Research LLC since October 2023, where responsibilities include leading scheduling and resource allocation for offshore Navy support missions, as well as overseeing mission logistics related to power management and storage on support vessels. Prior to this role, Nestor served as Lead Design Engineer at Thomas Instrument from December 2019 to October 2023, managing the C-130 actuator project and enhancing actuator design for improved lifespan and durability. As a Design Engineer, Nestor developed overhaul documentation for military aircraft components and designed testing tools for various rigorous projects. Earlier experience includes a position as Quality Engineer at Accenture, focusing on the analysis and certification of aircraft components for commercial use. Nestor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in 2017.
