Instructional Designer at Trideum

Chris Slupianek's work experience begins with their current role as an Instructional Designer at Trideum Corporation, which they started in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Learning Designer at Cerner Corporation from February 2019 to February 2022.

Before working at Cerner Corporation, Chris held multiple roles at Park University, including Associate Director of Instructional Design from June 2014 to February 2019, Assistant Director of Instructional Design from September 2012 to June 2014, Assistant Director of Online Operations from January 2012 to September 2012, and Instructional Designer from January 2008 to January 2012.

Additionally, they worked as a Merchandiser at PBG from May 2004 to August 2007, and as a Graduate assistant at Emporia State University from 2005 to 2007.

Chris Slupianek obtained a Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's Degree in American History (United States) from the same university from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their academic degrees, Chris has obtained several certifications. Chris completed the "Gamification of Learning" certification from LinkedIn in December 2021. Chris also completed the "Communicating with Transparency" certification from LinkedIn in September 2021 and the "Inclusive Instructional Design" certification from LinkedIn in April 2020.

Furthermore, Chris has acquired multiple certifications from the ACUE (Association of College and University Educators). In June 2018, they obtained certifications in the following areas: "Designing an Effective Course and Class", "Establishing a Productive Learning Environment" (2 times), "Using Active Learning Techniques", "Promoting Higher Order Thinking", "Assessing to Inform Instruction and Promote Learning", and "Effective Teaching Practices". It is unknown when they obtained the second certification for "Establishing a Productive Learning Environment" from ACUE.
