Cooper Zirbel

Cooper Zirbel has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT. Cooper is currently working as a Cybersecurity Technician at Trideum Corporation, where they support efforts in MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC-429 data analysis. Cooper uses various software, such as AIM PBA. Pro and AltaDT AltaView, to visualize and manipulate avionics data. Cooper also develops custom applications for this purpose. Prior to this role, Cooper worked as a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Trideum, Cooper gained experience as an Information Technology Intern at Trideum Corporation. Cooper was responsible for maintaining server hardware, refurbishing laptops and Macbooks for resale, and training for multiple IT certificates. Cooper also participated in SkillsUSA competitions and achieved second place in the Local competition and fifth place in the state of Alabama.

Cooper Zirbel began their education journey in 2018 when they obtained the TestOut PC Pro Certification from TestOut Corporation. In 2019, they acquired the TestOut Desktop Pro Certification and the TestOut Network Pro Certification. In 2020, Cooper earned the TestOut Security Pro Certification, the TestOut Linux Pro Certification, and the Microsoft Technology Associate: Networking Fundamentals (MTA) from Microsoft. Additionally, they attended Calhoun Community College from 2020 to 2023, pursuing a Transfer Degree to UAH Cybersecurity Engineering with a focus on Cybersecurity. In 2021, they obtained the TestOut Server Pro 2016: Install and Storage Certification. Their education journey culminated in 2025 when they completed a Cybersecurity Engineering degree from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Cooper also holds the CompTIA Security+ certification, which they achieved in 2022.
