Nicholas Ciervo

Cloud Architect at Tridiuum

Nicholas Ciervo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Computer Lab Consultant and later as an Assistant Lab Supervisor at Rutgers New Brunswick Computing Services. During this time, they troubleshooted hardware and software issues, updated website content, and assisted with the production of training videos.

In 2008, Ciervo joined Review Publishing as a Web Production Assistant. Their responsibilities included editing materials, converting stories from InDesign to HTML, and assisting with content management system conversions.

From 2010 to 2011, Ciervo worked as an Online Producer at Clear Channel Radio, where they managed social media engagement, reported stories, and created HTML/CSS pages for programming and marketing initiatives.

In 2011, Ciervo joined EidosMedia as an Application Specialist. Nicholas served as the US office lead for the configuration and development of a tablet publishing platform. Nicholas also provided support, quality assurance, and training to US-based customers.

Ciervo then worked as an ESL Instructor at CHUNGDAHM Learning from 2015 to 2016. Nicholas instructed students aged 8 to 14 on English as a second language and developed interactive lessons and lesson plans.

In 2017, Ciervo became an Adjunct Instructor at Saint Joseph's University, where they taught HTML and CSS application and best practices. Nicholas also introduced students to current web design trends and created a curriculum and syllabus.

Ciervo returned to EidosMedia in 2019, this time as an Application Specialist. Nicholas continued to provide support and quality assurance to US-based customers, while also being involved in CMS conversions, documentation, and training.

From 2019 to 2021, Ciervo worked at Cloudnexa as a Level 2 Cloud Architect. In this role, they designed, architected, and developed client environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Nicholas also migrated servers, applications, and databases to the AWS infrastructure using various services and adhering to industry best practices.

Currently, Ciervo is employed as a Cloud Architect at Lucet (formerly New Directions + Tridiuum), where they apply their expertise in cloud architecture.

Throughout their career, Ciervo has displayed a strong technical skill set and the ability to work effectively in various roles and industries.

Nicholas Ciervo began their education at Rutgers University in 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies. Nicholas completed their undergraduate studies in 2008.

Afterwards, in 2008, Nicholas attended Drexel University to further enhance their knowledge in Television Management. Nicholas pursued a Master of Science degree and completed their studies in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Nicholas has obtained multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Nicholas completed the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification in June 2019, followed by the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification in September 2019. In December 2019, they acquired the Amazon Web Services Developer-Associate certification. Nicholas continued to expand their expertise by earning the Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator-Associate certification in February 2020. Nicholas achieved the highest level of certification with the Amazon Web Services Certified DevOps Engineer-Professional in November 2020. Most recently, in February 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional certification.
