Norbert Linder

Norbert Linder currently serves as the Director of Global Technology at Tridonic since January 2021. Prior to this role, Linder held various leadership positions at OSRAM from October 1998 to January 2021, including Director of Trendscouting and Foresighting, where Linder built a trendscouting activity integrated into OSRAM's portfolio strategy. As Director, Head of Strategy and Innovation Management, Linder transformed OSRAM Corporate Technology into a digital innovation organization focused on customer-centric processes. Linder also directed OSRAM Corporate Technology in the Asia-Pacific region, leading solid-state lighting research, and managed advanced LED epitaxy and chip development. Earlier experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California at San Diego, where Linder conducted theoretical research in semiconductor physics. Linder earned a PhD and Diplom in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
