Vittorio Pignatti-Morano

Founding Partner & Chairman at Trilantic Europe

Vittorio Pignatti-Morano is one of the three Founding Partners and Chairman of Trilantic Europe. Vittorio spent 21 years at Lehman Brothers in Europe where he was Vice Chairman of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and occupied various positions over the years as head of Investment Banking Italy (Milan, 1989-98), Head of Mergers and Acquisitions EMEA (London, 1998-2006), Head of Private Equity EMEA (London, 2006-2008) and then Trilantic Europe.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Vittorio was a Managing Director of Banque Paribas heading Italian Investment and Merchant Banking (Milan, 1986-89), and a Vice President at Manufacturers Hanover Trust corporate finance (New York, 1982-86).

For over 35 years Vittorio has worked in private equity investing and advisory in key European geographies. His focus has been on telecommunications and media, consumer goods, and leisure. He is a board member of ICS Maugeri, Doppel, Mediobanca, and Edizione (Benetton Family holding company).

Vittorio holds an M.A in Economics from Columbia University and a B.A Honours in Economics and Mathematics from Sussex University.
