Jafar Alam

Jafar Alam is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial, regulatory, and infrastructure litigation, arbitration, and advisory. Currently serving as a Partner at Trilegal since July 2014, Jafar has also held the positions of Counsel and Senior Associate at the same firm, contributing significantly to its legal framework. Prior experience includes advocating at Amit Sibal's Law Chambers and Wadia Ghandy & Co., as well as a research role at the Centre for Policy Research focused on independent regulatory agencies. Jafar holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Regulatory Law from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts (H) in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
