Nayantara Nag is a Partner at Trilegal, having joined the firm in July 2008 and progressed through roles including Senior Associate and Counsel in the Projects practice. With extensive experience in advising international and domestic sponsors, developers, and government bodies, Nayantara has led projects across sectors such as rail, roads, power (wind, solar, and thermal), and oil & gas. Notable advisory roles include contract negotiations for Alstom with the Government of India under the 'Make in India' initiative, BG Group on offshore asset decommissioning, and involvement in affordable housing projects with the International Finance Corporation. Prior experience includes positions at Jyoti Sagar Associates and Amarchand & Mangaldas, where Nayantara provided counsel on regulatory issues and project development. Educational credentials include an LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, and a B.A. (Hons) in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
