Andrew Steel is a distinguished Medical Director at the University Health Network, overseeing the Medical-Surgical Neuro ICU since June 2009, while also serving as an Attending Physician in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Units at Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Andrew Steel functions as a Hospital Donation Physician for Trillium Gift of Life Network since November 2018, advocating for organ donation and educating others in the field. From January 2015 to January 2022, Andrew Steel held the position of Program Director for the Clinical Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at both the University Health Network and Sinai Health Systems. Andrew Steel's educational background includes a Master's degree in Organisational Psychology specializing in Medical Leadership and Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of London, along with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Anatomy from UCL.
