Joan Cass, MSW, RSW, Q.Med, has extensive experience as a Trauma Counsellor at TELUS Health since March 2011, providing trauma support services to various client organizations. As a Workshop Facilitator for Mutual Understandings, Joan delivered sessions on compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Additionally, roles include Debriefing Counsellor for Trillium Gift of Life Network and former President of the ADR Institute of Ontario. Joan's background encompasses positions such as Independent Complaint Facilitator and Information and Referral Coordinator, as well as significant contributions to emergency and health services as a Social Worker. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from York University, alongside ongoing professional development in Dispute Resolution.
