David Longley is the Vice President of Capital Planning and Redevelopment at Trillium Health Partners (THP) where he is responsible for all infrastructure planning and development across the organization.
Since joining THP in 2011, David has served the Redevelopment and Facilities portfolios in various leadership roles where he has initiated and advanced the hospital’s Master Plan project, implemented multiple renovation projects to improve capacity and service delivery, and strengthened the Capital Planning and Redevelopment team to support the needs of THP’s growing community.
Prior to joining THP, David spent five years in private consulting practice where he supported the planning and implementation of various heath capital infrastructure projects across Ontario, including leadership for the development of a joint Local Health Integration Network (LHIN)–Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) capital planning framework for Ontario. Previously, David held progressively senior positions at Mount Sinai Hospital and the MOHLTC, where he developed his understanding of health system operations and provincial health capital planning processes.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from York University and a Master of Health Sciences in Health Administration from the University of Toronto.
