Joshua Norman

Joshua Norman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joshua currently holds the position of Vice President at Waggoner Resilience, Inc. and Trilon Group, where they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Climate, Resilience, and Sustainability at WSP from 2022 to 2023. Before that, Joshua served as the Director of Climate, Resilience, and Sustainability at WSP from 2022 to 2023.

From 2015 to 2022, Joshua worked as the Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management at GP Strategies Corporation. In this role, they directed the division dedicated to the recovery and revitalization of areas affected by disasters.

Joshua's earlier work experience includes roles such as President at Resilire Consulting from 2006 to 2016, and Owner at Disaster Recovery Consultants from 2006 to 2011. Joshua started their career as a Firefighter/EMT at Bedford Fire Department from 1996 to 2005.

Throughout their career, Joshua has focused on disaster recovery, resilience, and sustainability, demonstrating expertise in project management, program administration, financial administration, and engineering.

In 1995, Joshua Norman attended Collin County Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting. Joshua completed this program in 1996. Then, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Emergency Administration and Planning at the University of North Texas.
