Jana Crye

Jana Crye has had a diverse range of roles in the field of design and customer service. Jana began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Capital Wraps in 2013, where they created vinyl wraps and event graphics. Later in the same year, they worked as a Contract Graphic Designer at NC State University, designing the University Recreation Program Guide. In 2014, they joined WRAL as a Graphic Designer, creating web and print materials for WRAL.com and subsidiary websites. Jana also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Jana Crye Designs from 2011 to 2015, designing logos, branding materials, and websites for clients while providing excellent customer service. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Barista/Shift Supervisor at Caribou Coffee from 2011 to 2015, where they provided outstanding customer service and supervised staff. Jana also worked as an English Teaching Assistant at Inspection Académique de la Charente from 2009 to 2010, planning and teaching English lessons to French students. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at WRAL Digital Solutions as a Web and Senior Graphic Designer, creating WordPress websites and developing effective sales materials. Their most recent role was at Capitol B Creative Studios, where they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer from 2021 to 2022, providing creative guidance to clients and designing brands and websites. Currently, they are working as a Senior Designer at TriMark Digital.

Jana Crye pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2004 and ending in 2014. From 2004 to 2009, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study during this period was French Language Teacher Education & Teaching English to Speaker's of Other Languages.

In 2011, Jana Crye enrolled at Wake Technical Community College and completed their studies in 2014. Jana obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree during this time, focusing on Advertising & Graphic Design.

In addition to their formal education, Jana Crye has obtained several certifications. In February 2023, they received a Google UX Design Certificate from Coursera. Moreover, in December 2014, they earned the following certifications from DoubleClick: DoubleClick Studio Certified, Studio Certified in Dynamic Content, Studio Certified in Engagement Ads, Studio Certified in Flash, Studio Certified in HTML5, Studio Certified in QA, Studio Certified in VPAID, and Studio Certified in YouTube Masthead.
