Daniel Abreu

Daniel Abreu is a seasoned professional in cloud engineering and FinOps, currently serving as Lead FinOps Engineer at Trimble Inc. since November 2024, where responsibilities include spearheading the global implementation of FinOps culture and providing optimization insights across various cloud providers and SaaS platforms. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions at Neon from February 2022 to November 2024, including Staff Cloud Engineer and Senior Cloud Analyst, focusing on FinOps culture, cloud architecture, and cost management, particularly with AWS. Daniel's experience also encompasses a tenure at ENGIE Brasil from September 2016 to February 2022 as a Senior Cloud Analyst, as well as various roles in IT infrastructure at VIJA Automação/USIMINAS and Sonda IT from 2010 to 2016. Daniel earned an M.B.A. in IT Infrastructure Management from IGTI and a Bachelor's Degree in System Information from Centro Universitário do Leste de Minas Gerais.
