Christopher Briand

Christopher Briand has a diverse work experience in various roles related to 3D CAD design, photography, technical support, and training.

Christopher currently works as a Team Lead for the Client Success Team at TriMech Solutions, where they share their knowledge in the 3D CAD space and assists the support team and clients in achieving their goals.

Prior to their current role, Christopher worked as a Principal Photographer & Tech Guy at Chris B Captures, where they honed their skills in photography and continuously improved their craft.

Christopher also served as a Team Lead, Applications Expert & CSWP at Javelin Technologies, where they shared their knowledge in 3D CAD and supported clients in using Javelin's suite of design solutions.

Before Javelin Technologies, Christopher worked as an Applications Engineer / Certified Instructor at Microtek Atlantic, where they provided technical support and delivered Autodesk training courses for the manufacturing industry.

Christopher also worked as a Mechanical CAD Instructor at NSCC, where they taught Mechanical CAD courses based on Autodesk software.

Additionally, Christopher worked as a Mechanical Technologist at STAT Manufacturing Ltd., where they were responsible for designing and manufacturing platform, conveyor systems, and retrofit parts.

Early in their career, Christopher worked as a CAD Modeling Technician through William G Ferguson Technical Consulting, where they were involved in the Swissair Flight 111 investigation, mapping fire damage on the aircraft using various CAD applications.

Christopher Briand completed their education at Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Prior to that, they attended Milwood High School from 1995 to 1997. Christopher also holds a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Professional, which they obtained from SOLIDWORKS in August 2007.
