Carly Correa

Carly Correa has a diverse work experience in the field of textile design. Carly started their career as a Textile Designer at Emberly Modine Design in 2013, where they completed various tasks related to pattern creation and editing. Carly then worked as a Textile Design Manager at Joie from 2014 to 2016, where they developed original print concepts and designed exclusive prints for well-known retailers. Carly then pursued freelance work at Carly Correa Design, where they collaborated with clients in different markets, designing textiles for apparel, interior design, and lifestyle products. Carly also worked as a Textile Artist at Malibu Design Group and Trimera Brands, where they focused on swim and active wear prints for various accounts. Carly'sresponsibilities included creating print concepts, utilizing traditional and digital media, and producing production-ready artwork. Carly currently holds the position of Art Director at Trimera Brands, where they oversee artistic direction for the company.

Carly Correa completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts and Art History from Loyola Marymount University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they also attended the Akademie für Internationale Bildung to further their studies in Studio Arts. Later, in 2014 to 2016, Carly pursued an independent study in Surface Design and Printmaking at Art Center Extension.
