Andreas Luetzerath

Andreas Luetzerath has extensive experience in the aluminium production industry, currently serving as a member of the board and plant manager at TRIMET Aluminium SE since July 2009, overseeing the production of 130,000 tonnes of primary aluminium with a focus on a team of 130 employees. Previous roles include department manager of the reduction area and manager of process and quality control, where responsibilities encompassed managing a team of 20 and improving electrolysis processes, respectively. In addition, Andreas has expertise in lean management, facilitating KAIZEN workshops and coaching process managers. Prior to TRIMET, Andreas worked as a scientific engineer at IME, RWTH Aachen, managing projects in non-ferrous metallurgy and engaging in academic instruction. Andreas holds an engineer's degree in metallurgy and materials science from RWTH Aachen University, earned between 1999 and 2005.
