JT Flowers currently serves as the Director of Government Affairs & Communications at Albina Vision Trust, a position held since July 2023. Additionally, JT holds several leadership roles, including Board Member for TriMet (District 5) and Board Chair for Williams & Russell CDC, both starting in October 2024. Previous experience includes serving as Public Lands Coordinator for Oregon Wild and working as a Consultant for We The Protesters - Campaign Zero. From June 2017 to May 2018, JT was a Congressional Field Representative for Congressman Earl Blumenauer and earlier founded A Leg Even, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding lower-income college students. JT’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Yale University, complemented by two Master of Arts degrees from the University of Oxford in US History and Music Performance.
