Leanne Brown-Owens

LeAnne Brown-Owens has over 20 years of experience in project management and workforce equity, primarily at TriMet, where roles have included DBE and Workforce Equity Senior Project Manager and Compliance Specialist. Responsibilities have encompassed determining driver eligibility for transportation services, conducting public outreach for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise programs, and analyzing compliance with federal regulations. LeAnne has also worked at US Bancorp, managing minority/women-owned business initiatives and enhancing program outreach. Previous experience includes serving as a Tax Auditor Technician at the Internal Revenue Service. LeAnne holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Portland State University and has completed certificate programs in Public Procurement and a Master of Compliance from the American Contract Compliance Association.
