Janez Kunic

Janez Kunic has extensive work experience in various roles within the commercial and procurement fields. Janez is currently the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Trimo, a position they have held since November 2022. Earlier in their career, they served as the Procurement Director at Trimo from January 2017 to November 2022. Before joining Trimo, they were the Commercial Director at Ferročrtalič d.o.o. from March 2015 to December 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Sales and Managing Director at Akripol Serbia, a subsidiary of Akripol p.l.c., from June 2011 to March 2015.

Furthermore, Janez Kunic gained valuable experience at Danfoss A/S, where they served as a Category Sourcing Manager from September 2009 to December 2010. Before that, they held the role of Strategic Purchase Specialist at Danfoss A/S from February 2008 to August 2009. Janez also had a role as a Business Transformation Analyst at Central Purchasing, a unit of Danfoss A/S, from September 2007 to February 2008. Lastly, Janez Kunic worked at Danfoss Compressors, where they were the Purchasing Manager from October 2003 to September 2007 and held the position of Logistics (Planner) from February 1998 to October 2003.

Janez Kunic has a BA in Economics from the School of Business and Management. In 2006, they completed an Advanced International Negotiation Programme, and in 2004, they completed a Strategic Purchasing Program. In 2019, they participated in a Leadership Competences Development Program at the IEDC - Bled School of Management.
