Lauren Morgenroth

Lauren Morgenroth has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lauren began their career at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in 1999 as a Patient Clinical Assistant and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lauren then joined the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 and worked as a Clinical Research Operations Director until 2011. Lauren then transitioned to the Children's National Medical Center and held the position of Clinical Research Operations Manager from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, Lauren joined TRiNDS and has since held various leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer until February 2020, and then Chief Executive Officer from February 2020 onwards.

Lauren Morgenroth has a strong educational background in the field of genetics and counseling. Lauren obtained a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology, Biology, Psychology, and Chemistry from the University of Miami, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Before pursuing higher education in the United States, Lauren attended Lycee La Source from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a European Baccalaureate in Science. In addition to their academic achievements, Lauren also holds a certification as a Certified Genetic Counselor, which they obtained from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) in August 2010.
