Mary Kotlarczyk, Ph.D.

Clinical Research Scientist at TRiNDS

Mary Kotlarczyk, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mary is currently working at TRiNDS as a Clinical Research Scientist and has been in this role since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Clinical Research Project Manager at the same company starting from July 2021.

From 2015 to 2021, Mary worked at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Mary held the position of Research Assistant Professor of Medicine from September 2017 to July 2021. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar from September 2015 to August 2017.

In 2013, Mary worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Chatham University, Department of Biology from January 2013 to April 2015.

From 2011 to 2014, Mary worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. During their time there, they conducted research on the molecular mechanisms involved in the development of ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms, with a focus on the role of endothelial nitric oxide synthase in patients with bicuspid aortic valve.

Mary's earliest work experience was at Duquesne University, where they served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant as well as a Laboratory Technician from August 2003 to June 2011.

Mary Kotlarczyk, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Chatham University in 2003. Mary then went on to complete their Master's Degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Duquesne University between 2003 and 2007. Following that, Mary pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology from Duquesne University from 2008 to 2011. Finally, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2015 to 2018.
