Brevard Nelson

Brevard Nelson serves as the Managing Director of Caribbean Ideas Synapse since November 2007, holding additional titles including Director & CEO and Director & Chief Operating Officer. Nelson is an Independent Director at the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation, appointed on the Board of Directors in compliance with the UTC Act of 1981. Other notable positions include Director at Caribbean Ideas Academy, Treasurer of the Advertising Agencies Association of Trinidad & Tobago, and Management Committee Member for St Mary's College Past Students' Union, where various roles were undertaken. Previously, Nelson was President and Corporate Communications Manager at Guardian Holdings Limited and held the title of VP Branding & Visual Communications at IABCTT. Educational qualifications include an Executive Education program from Harvard Business School, a Master of Laws in Computer and Communications Law from the University of London, a Master’s in International Marketing Communications from London Metropolitan University, a Master’s in Management from École Supérieure de Commerce Et de Management, and a BSc in Management from the University of the West Indies.
