Rowena Curva MSN, APN, FNP-C currently serves as the Simulation Center Director at Monmouth University, overseeing the Linda Grunin Simulation Lab and Learning Center since May 2021. In addition, Rowena works as a per diem Emergency Department Nurse Educator at Trinitas Regional Medical Center and has been a Clinical Learning Facilitator at Rutgers School of Nursing since March 2015. Rowena's previous experience includes roles such as Emergency Department RN at Chilton Medical Center and Clara Maass Medical Center, Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Faculty at Mountainside Hospital - School of Nursing, and Nurse Practitioner and Sub-Investigator at Frontage Laboratories, Inc. Rowena holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Rutgers University - Newark and multiple nursing degrees from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Rutgers University - Newark.
