Jason Isaacson

Jason Isaacson is currently an analyst for Trinity Capital Inc. Prior to that, they were an associate financial analyst for RR Donnelley from September 2018 to June 2020. In that role, they were responsible for driving improvement in the corporation’s financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management. Jason also updated roll-forwards and schedules, posted and reviewed journal entries and reconciliations. Additionally, they completed inter-company analysis, balance sheet analytics, and ad hoc analysis.

Jason has also created discount cash flow models to assess potential restructuring activity by calculating net present value, internal rate of return, and payback period on cash flows. Jason has reviewed valuation models for potential restructuring activity and created presentations with financial data including net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and discounted payback period for controller. Additionally, they have supported the controller, assistant controller, and Milliman on annual workers compensation analysis, built ad hocs to evaluate workers compensation, auto and general liability at various dates, and posted complex true up entry to update reserves to Milliman analysis. Lastly, they have contributed to corporate accounting close by preparing and posting journal entries on SAP, updating roll forwards and schedules including prepaid accounts, pension plans, workers compensation, goodwill, intangibles, restructuring, and preparing and reviewing account reconciliations.

Jason Isaacson has a Masters in Accounting from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
