Ryan Thompson

Ryan Thompson is the Managing Director of Originations at Trinity Capital Inc. Ryan has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on venture capital and growth loans. Prior to joining Trinity Capital, they were an Investment Director at Columbia Lake Partners, where they were responsible for sourcing and leading new investment opportunities, financial analysis, structuring, legal and commercial due diligence. Ryan has also held senior positions at Silicon Valley Bank, where they were responsible for global markets and venture capital.

Ryan Thompson has a Master's in Finance from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, and they have also completed the Oxford Fintech Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Ryan's undergraduate degree is in Management from Dallas Baptist University.

Ryan Thompson reports to Steve Brown, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Gerry Harder - COO, Myron Jensen - Director, Portfolio, and Vibhor Garg - Director, Marketing.
