Maxine Griffith has a diverse and extensive work experience, spanning multiple prestigious organizations. Maxine currently holds the position of Chief Infrastructure Officer at Trinity Church Wall Street since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant and Senior Advisor to the Provost at Northeastern University from July 2020 to June 2022.

From September 2017 to July 2020, Griffith served as a Senior Advisor to the President at Columbia University in the City of New York. In this role, they provided internal consultation and advice on programs related to pre-development activities, community development, and community engagement. Additionally, they worked closely with the Office of the Provost on diversity and inclusion matters.

Before their tenure at Columbia University, Griffith held the position of Executive Vice President from July 2005 to July 2017. In this role, they played a significant role in the planning and implementation of the university's new campus project, encompassing 17 acres and amounting to a 6 billion dollar investment. Maxine also actively engaged with government, civic, and community-based organizations throughout the project.

Prior to joining Columbia University, Griffith worked for the City of Philadelphia as the Executive Director of the City Planning Commission and Secretary (Deputy Mayor) for Strategic Planning from 2000 to 2005. Maxine also served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Columbia University from 1999 to 2000.

Maxine Griffith, FAICP, holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree with a focus on Architecture and Urban Design from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2018, Maxine obtained the College of Fellows certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners. Additionally, they are affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Planners.
