Cathal Walsh

Cathal Walsh is a Professor of Biostatistics at Trinity College Dublin since July 2023 and has been a Biostatistician at the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics since 2007. Additionally, Cathal has served as a Biostatistician at Trinity College Dublin / St James's Hospital since January 2003 and held the position of Chair of Statistics at the University of Limerick from November 2014 to July 2023. Between November 2013 and September 2020, Cathal was the Head of the Centre for Health Decision Science. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Bayesian Statistical Modelling from Trinity College Dublin (1996-1999) and a BA (Mod) in Mathematics from the same institution (1992-1996).
