Mélanie Bouroche

Mélanie Bouroche is a seasoned academic professional currently serving as a Lecturer in Middleware for Distributed Systems and the Future Cities Research Programme Manager at Trinity College Dublin since September 2007. Bouroche manages the Future Cities research programme within the Distributed Systems Group, focusing on middleware for wireless sensor networks, participatory sensing, and vehicular computing. Additionally, Bouroche has experience as a postdoctoral researcher and part-time lecturer, specializing in various aspects of distributed systems and concurrent programming. Prior to this role, Bouroche was a Teaching Assistant at the Programming Support Centre at Trinity College Dublin, supporting students with various programming queries. Bouroche holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and an engineering degree in Telecommunications and Distributed Systems from Grenoble INP - UGA.
