Trinity Episcopal School
Trinity Episcopal School is the only K-8 independent school in Uptown Charlotte. Our passionate and innovative faculty is committed to creating scholars by redefining academic rigor using our workshop approach, inspiring a responsibility for students' own learning and promoting their curiosity in the classroom and world around them. As an urban school Trinity has the distinct advantage of an extended campus that includes Center City destinations such as ImaginOn, Discovery Place and the Mint Museum. The powerful combination of creating scholars, nurturing spirituality and embracing diversity enables us to inspire, develop and send forth the future leaders of tomorrow. Our teachers love to teach and our students love to learn! The educational philosophy on which the school was founded values teaching and learning through collaboration, innovative problem solving and differentiation. Trinity’s creative and enthusiastic faculty has professional training which has led to their recognition as educational leaders across Charlotte and the state of North Carolina. Our teachers take their expertise and joy into the classroom each day and as a result, our students embrace a pursuit of knowledge they carry with them as Wildcat Alumni. Our program prepares students intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially for leadership in a diverse world by incorporating opportunities for students to interact and develop relationships with others who look, think, act and live in different ways. As part of our Episcopal school identity, Trinity is an inclusive community where our diversity makes us stronger. Each day, students recognize and celebrate individual differences not only inside the classroom but in the Charlotte community and beyond. We create scholars who are curious about the world, who possess cultural dexterity, who appreciate human beings as creations of a loving God and who develop responsible and ethical character.
